INSIDE INX: CERTIFICATIONS
EcoLogo™ Certification. Founded in 1988 by the Government of Canada but now recognized world-wide, EcoLogoTM is North America’s largest, most respected environmental standard and certification mark. EcoLogo provides customers – public, corporate and consumer – with assurance that the products and services bearing the logo meet stringent standards of environmental leadership. With THOUSANDS of EcoLogo Certified products, EcoLogo certifies environmental leaders covering a large variety of categories, helping you find and trust the world’s most sustainable products. INX International is EcoLogo certified for Printing Inks CCD-040.

ISO 14000 Certification. ISO 14000 is the Environmental Management Standard. Certification to this standard provides assurance that the organization made a commitment to improving the environment. This commitment involves determining the company's environmental aspects and impacts, and implementing programs to improve its environmental performance. Compliance requirements are also determined and audited in ISO 14000. Certified INX locations include: West Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC, Dunkirk, NY, and INX France . All other INX locations will be internally required to comply with ISO 14000 procedures.

ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard. ISO 9001:2000 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
INX has eight sites which are fully certified to the ISO 9001-2000 standard: Appleton, WI, Charlotte, NC, Dunkirk, NY, St Louis, MO, West Chicago, IL, Homewood, IL, INX UK and INX France. Our remaining sites are internally required to comply with our ISO 9001 Level l and ll procedures.

New York Environmental Leaders (NYEL). New York Environmental Leaders (NYEL) is a program that aims to provide recognition and incentives for those organizations that can demonstrate the use of pollution prevention practices, beyond compliance performance, or suitable business practices as a result of their participation in NYEL. Further, NYEL focuses on enabling those organizations that are committed to making improvements in their environmental performance. NYEL provides organizations incentives to sustain their existing high levels of performance, and to motivate and enable organizations that are committed to reaching higher levels of performance.
Triangle Digital INX became a certified Green Business in April of 2008 sponsored the Bay Area Green Business Program. The program is backed by the US EPA, CAL EPA, and the DTSC (Department of Toxic Substances Control). This program scrutinizes Compliance of; Air Quality, Hazardous Material Storage, Storm Water Management and Hazardous Waste Management. This program also requires going beyond compliance to adopt environmentally-sound practices in the areas of Energy efficiency, Water conservation, Solid and hazardous waste reduction and Pollution prevention.

INX Field Ops-Sacramento certified as "Sacramento County Sustainable Business" through Sacramento County's Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC). INX Sacramento is one of only 7 businesses in Sacramento County that has achieved all 5 areas of certification (Energy Conservation, Water Conservation, Pollution Prevention, Solid Waste reduction, and Green Building). We are currently working to achieve the top status level of Gold certification.

INX International Ink Co REACH Act Compliance. The European Commission adopted a new EU regulatory framework for chemicals - "REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL" concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (commonly known as REACH). INX International Ink Co. and its affiliated companies are committed to the implementation of REACH within our business. We are working with trade associations, our suppliers and our customers already and will continue to do so over the coming years on the implementation of REACH.
Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) Member. The Sustainable Packaging Coalition™ (SPC) is an industry working group dedicated to creating a more robust environmental vision for packaging. Through informed design practice, supply chain collaboration, education, and innovation, the Coalition strives to transform packaging into a system that encourages an economically prosperous and sustainable flow of materials, creating lasting value for present and future generations
Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) Patron Member. The Sustainable Green Printing PartnershipSM is a non-profit organization devoted to encouraging and promoting participation in the worldwide movement to reduce the environmental impact and increase the social responsibility of the print and graphic communication industry through sustainable green printing practices. Through the generous support of philanthropic companies like INX International Ink Co., the SGP Partnership is able to keep fees low for printers to participate in the program.
