8/18/2008 INX International to feature ‘Green’ Inks, Sustainable Options and Cost-Cutting Systems at SuperCorrExpo.

Schaumburg, IL – August 18, 2008 — INX International Ink Co. is planning to showcase a full range of corrugated inks systems at the SuperCorrExpo, set for September 22-26 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Conference Center.

“Corrugated printers face an ever- expanding array of challenges that we can help them meet at this year’s show,” said Rick Clendenning, President and CEO of INX International Ink Co. “In the four years since the industry’s last SuperCorr event, we have added and enhanced a number of products to help them deal with tight economic times, sustainability issues, and application-specific client demands.”

INX International will support the SuperCorrExpo with a number of specialists in booth
#2030 to answer questions and provide details about the following products:

Certifiably Green INX Soya Extender, a sustainable, naturally derived aqueous soy protein solution for water-based inks and coatings. Highly compatible with most water ink systems for a variety of applications - including corrugated - the low-VOC solution is more than just green, offering heat resistance, enhanced hold out and re-wet when added to conventional water inks. An FDA direct food compliant version also is available.

The INX “Star” family of low-VOC, barium-free corrugated printing inks is tailor-made to match varied needs. The five family members include StarCorr™ “Level 1” inks, a new enhanced high-value system specially formulated for high-volume GCMI applications on Natural Kraft or Mottled linerboard, and other absorbent papers. Extremely press-stable with controlled absorption drying, StarCorr offers excellent coverage and welcome cost-savings.

HyStar™ is a top quality choice for superb graphics on Natural Kraft, Mottled and Bleach linerboards. The color density is excellent, as is its press stability. TriStar™ fast-drying inks enable in-line die cutting while providing maximum color strength for display Mottled, Bleach and coated linerboards.

TriStar SpH™ premium quality inks are specially formulated for corrugated display applications. The water-based flexographic inks are highly pH stable with excellent color density, and its fast drying capability makes them ideal for display graphics. StarFlex™ is perfect for those seeking an economical ink that delivers excellent color density and hiding power on Natural Kraft linerboard. A step above the competition, it can also work well on Mottled linerboard.

Other products to be featured include ProCure™ UV coatings, which are formulated VOC-free and provide a superb “finish” for eye-popping displays and high-impact corrugated packaging.

23 Series and INXSperse™ concentrated water base dispersions are highly pigmented and suitable to be let down into a wide range of inks for diverse applications on a variety of substrates, including corrugated. Low-VOC (less than 1 percent) with no HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants) or SARA-reportable materials, the 23 Series and INXSperse dispersions are available in an extensive array of colors including barium free and copper free; heat, fade or bleed resistant; opaque and transparent. In dispenser applications, these dispersions maximize versatility and give printers greater control over inventory and process needs.
