Lamination

lamination

Flexible packaging inks enhance the graphic appearance and contribute to the performance of the package by preserving the quality of the images during the manufacturing, packaging, transportation, and use of the product. Whether the inks are water-based or solvent-based, for lamination, INX International offers a broad product portfolio of high quality ink solutions for a wide range of flexible packaging inks.

SOLVENT-BASED INKS

Belle Color™ Solvent-based Rotogravure Laminating Inks

The highest performing laminating inks on the market for adhesive and extrusion lamination. Specially formulated for retort, boil-in-bag, and an extraordinary range of diverse packaging applications, it is a proprietary, single component universal ink system that prints clean and sharp with outstanding quality and consistency on multiple substrates. Belle Color has excellent heat resistance and low solvent retention. It also resolves doctor blade issues common with other inks. Lightfast colorants are also available.

Innova Plus™ and Synergy™ Solvent-based Flexographic Laminating Inks

Innova Plus and Synergy ink systems work well with a variety of solvent-based and solvent-less adhesive systems. They are high-performance ink blending systems designed for printers looking to improve printability and lower ink inventory levels.

Infinity XL Solvent-based Flexographic Extrusion Lamination Inks

High performance extrusion laminating ink system designed for use on a variety of films. It offers excellent extrusion bonds, superior color and exceptional printability at high press speeds. Infinity XL is heat resistant with low solvent retention and offers provides excellent block resistance for off-line lamination.

WATER-BASED INKS

INXLam™ and Mylex™ Water-based Flexographic Lamination Inks

Water based flexographic lamination ink systems are developed to work with solvent-less, water based, and UV adhesive systems. INX water lamination inks demonstrate exceptional film adhesion, excellent bond strength, superior color density, and excellent water resistance. They enable line work printability with up to 800 line screen anilox rolls and process work printability with up to 1000 line screen anilox rolls.

ENERGY CURABLE INKS

GelFlex-EB™ Electron Beam Flexographic Inks

Gelflex•EB inks help brand owners and printers achieve their sustainability goals by reducing or eliminating lamination layers in favor of surface print. They are ultra-high solid, gel-based inks which are fluid enough for CI flexo printing, but thicken rapidly, providing effective high-speed ink trapping in the wet state. With Gelflex•EB you can produce a wide array of eye-catching print designs using multi-colored palettes as well as various tactile packaging surfaces.

INXCure™ CardPro

INXCure CardPro UV offset plastic lamination inks provide best-in-class bond strength between the synthetic card substrate and the plastic film overlay, preventing de-lamination and end use product failure. Formulated to maximize bond strength, INXCure CardPro will put printers at ease knowing their plastic cards will hold up to the demands of today’s brand owners and their customers.
