Inks for folding carton and finishing need to have two often opposing characteristics; appealing effects and durable performance. INX International’s innovative offering for folding cartons are formulated to have industry leading aesthetic appeal and high performance end use properties.
E-Tech S and S2
E-Tech S and S2 are premium quality, low VOC quickset inks for the sheetfed market. S2 is a stay-open version that will not skin in the fountain for 24 hours. Formulated with environmentally friendly raw materials that average 70% bio-renewable content and qualifies for the ASA Soy Seal. Ink waste due to skinning in the can and fountain is eliminated as they are formulated to stay open. This product is Nestle Compliant, Swiss compliant (Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21), and does not contain reportable levels of Proposition 65 substances. E-Tech S complies with ISO 2846-1 for shade and is suitable for the GRACoL G7 certification process.
Fusion™ UV Hybrid
Fusion UV hybrid inks are unsurpassed in the marketplace and offer a cure response equal to 100% reactive inks, expanded water window and enhanced transfer over other hybrid systems. They may be run on conventional presses using roller company approved rollers and unlike other hybrid inks, Fusion eliminates the need for roller conditioning and special press configurations due to its special vehicle formulation. They have exceptional adhesion on synthetic substrates and run well with or without inline UV or aqueous coatings. Fusion inks qualify for the ASA Soy Ink Seal.
INXCure™ LW (Long Wave) OSF inks
Formulated to cure using various types of additive and longer wavelength UV and LED lamp technologies along with standard UV. This would include LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs and the new iron-doped additive lamps being offered by the top press manufactures. They are 100 percent reactive and have excellent cure response to print at maximum press speeds. The inks cure with as little as one UV LED UV or low energy lamp, consuming less electricity, while virtually eliminating the heat and odor associated with traditional UV curing. They are suitable for a variety of coated and uncoated paper stocks, coated board stocks, foil stocks and metallized paper.
INXFlex™ UV Flexographic Inks
INXFlex UV Flexographic inks are formulated to provide minimal plate swell on most tag & label, pressure sensitive, shrink and in-mold label applications. Formulated to be benzophenone and ITX free, they are an ultra-low viscosity pourable system that can be printed with aniloxes up to 1800-line screen with 1.0-1.2 BCM. They provide good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates while being V-pyrol free.
TriStar™ Water-based Flexographic Inks
TriStar SpH inks are high quality, low maintenance printing inks that exhibit exceptional color density on mottled and bleached white substrates, and can also be used for natural kraft. Formulated with improved pH stability, the Tristar SpH system requires little to no monitoring on press.
Starbrite™ water-based flexographic inks
Starbrite flexographic inks are formulated for folding carton applications on SBS or CCNC but can be used on a variety of paper substrates. They exhibit good gloss, water resistance and rub resistance.
INXhrc® Natural Based Inks
INXhrc natural-based inks are formulated to replace petrochemically derived ingredients with clean, renewable, and sustainable ingredients without sacrificing machine, processing, and end-use product performance. Brand owners and printers benefit from reduced regulatory risk and measurable, reportable CO2 savings.
INXSPerse highly pigmented color concentrates are suitable to be let down into a full range of inks for diverse applications on a variety of substrates. Available in a wide array of colors including barium-free, copper-free, fade resistant, heat resistant, bleed resistant, opaque, and transparent. INXSperse provides absolute maximum versatility and value in dispenser applications providing the printer with complete control over inventory and process needs.
pH Stable water-based flexographic Inks
Premium water-based flexographic printing inks developed to work with multiple applications on coated and uncoated papers. Anilox rolls up to 1000 L/S can be utilized with these inks manufactured at an ISO registered plant to insure product consistency. They exhibit excellent pH stability at a wide range of press speeds – little to no pH monitoring necessary with no viscosity build with loss of pH.
UL VOC Pantone Bases
High performance, low VOC, blending bases for the folding carton market. They are carefully formulated from vegetable oils and other bio-renewable resources. The system averages 65% by weight from these carefully selected environmentally friendly raw materials. Formulated for the sheetfed folding carton market for indirect food contact containers where migration is a concern. This product is Nestle Compliant, Swiss compliant (Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21), and does not contain reportable levels of Proposition 65 substances. UL VOC Pantone Bases complies with ISO 2846-1 for shade and is suitable for the GRACoL G7 certification process. Print on a wide range of coated substrates, but not suitable for uncoated, synthetic, or non-porous substrates.
