Sustainability Model

Coloring a Safe and Sustainable Future

CSSF model

Coloring a Safe and Sustainable Future (CSSF) is the model we developed to illustrate how sustainability is integrated into both the strategic as well as the day-to-day activities of our business. It serves to guide us as we work to improve our sustainability performance while addressing the needs of brand owners, customers, and consumers. Our CSSF model identifies the key initiatives we are and will continue to invest in as we promote the tenets of a Circular Economy. It also supports the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and we have identified and aligned UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with our three main areas of impact:  Product Design, Process Design, and Social Responsibility. Our Coloring a Safe and Sustainable Future (CSSF) model below illustrates how.

The Sustainable Development Agenda

At INX International, we are aligning our process, product and social responsibility goals and initiatives with those of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, a call of action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve prosperity. To do so, we have identified a number of the 17 UN goals where the actions we are taking to help develop a more sustainable printing and packaging industry will, we believe, have a positive impact.

A Circular Economy

A circular economy as defined by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation is an economic system based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution (Reduce), keeping products and materials in use (Reuse) and regenerating natural systems (Recycle).

At INX International, we realize that doing our part to create circularity is key to sustainably shaping the future of the print and packaging industry. We understand that inks and coatings play an essential role supporting the Reduction, Reuse and Recycling of packaging and we are dedicated to helping our customers embrace and achieve a circular economy. We are committed to creating solutions that increase productivity and lower costs while also employing reduce, reuse, and recycle to contribute to a more sustainable future.
