Strategic alliance combines press engineering and ink innovation to help printers improve productivity, reduce waste, and achieve sustainability goals.
Schaumburg, IL – June 26, 2026 – INX International Ink Co. today announced a global partnership with Koenig & Bauer, one of the world’s leading press manufacturers, to deliver optimized LED-UV, HR-UV, and UV printing solutions that improve efficiency, color consistency, and sustainability for commercial printers and packaging converters worldwide.
The partnership combines Koenig & Bauer’s advanced sheetfed offset press technology with INX’s portfolio of energy-curable inks to provide customers with a fully optimized printing ecosystem designed to maximize productivity from startup through production.

Engineering a Stronger Bottom Line
Through extensive testing on Koenig & Bauer Rapida press platforms, INX energy-curable ink systems have demonstrated the ability to reduce makeready times, improve color stability, minimize waste, and support consistent print quality. The collaboration also helps printers reduce energy consumption through advanced LED-UV curing technologies while supporting broader sustainability objectives.
“Today’s printers face increasing pressure to improve productivity, reduce waste, and operate more sustainably,” said Bryce Kristo, President and CEO of INX International Ink Co. “By combining Koenig & Bauer’s industry-leading press technology with INX’s expertise in energy-curable ink systems, we are delivering integrated solutions that help customers achieve measurable operational improvements while supporting their long-term business and sustainability goals.”
“Our customers do not need isolated products; they need a seamless ecosystem stretching from the pressroom to the finished package,” said Dirk Winkler, Head of Process and Printing Technology and Product Management at Koenig & Bauer Sheetfed. “INX’s leadership in energy-curable inks provides the flexibility and innovation printers need to create a competitive advantage.”
Innovation, Sustainability, and Support
Backed by INX’s global R&D organization, the partnership supports the continued development of sustainable printing technologies, including solutions for food packaging safety, healthy printing, and future Cradle-to-Cradle aligned initiatives. Customers also benefit from joint training, demonstrations, workshops, and technical support through Koenig & Bauer’s global demo and training centers, enabling them to evaluate and optimize performance under real-world production conditions.
