INX International has perfected Color Solutions for LATAMCAN Conference

CEO Rick Clendenning to be recognized with Lifetime Achievement Award

Schaumburg, IL – February 5, 2019 – Color issues such as consistency and repeatability often keep brand owners, designers and metal decorators awake at night. INX International Ink Company, the leader in metal decoration technology, has a solution for them. Visitors attending the Latin American Canmakers Conference (LATAMCAN) will have the opportunity to learn more about INX Color Perfection® at the February 20-22 event in Mexico City.

INX will have a significant presence at the conference, both exhibiting and participating. Project Specialist Sarah Jacks will discuss Proof to Production: Color Standardization for Can Design & Decorating on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. INX CEO, Rick Clendenning, will be feted that night with a LATAMCAN Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jacks will discuss how brand owners and others can select and approve color efficiently, while influencing the bottom line by reducing lead times and getting labels to market quicker. She plans to outline how the INX Color Perfection process works to provide color standardization for can design and decorating, from the initial steps of the design process through production.

“Utilizing INX Color Perfection allows consumers to have immediate color selection approval, which eliminates several weeks from their lead time that would otherwise be spent waiting for color matches from our laboratories,” remarked Jacks. “This allows designers a fast and accurate means of color selection, and helps provide metal decorators with a cost effective approach to color management, fast turnaround on color, and problem-solving tools for them in combination with their customers.”

The INX Color Perfection process includes the INX 2-Piece Metal Color Catalog, an advanced color communication tool that includes over 600 removable metal color swatches for comparison purposes.

“Designing for and printing on metal is a unique process compared to other substrates,” said Jacks. “With the INX Color Catalog, as well as our digitized color library, digital proofing and key educational tools specifically tailored to metal decorating, we can further help you streamline and standardize this process.”

A full team of INX representatives including Jacks, Clendenning, and Jonathan Ellaby, Vice President of the International division, will be available to answer questions in the exhibition area. An INX Color Catalog will be on display and available to review.

Rick Clendenning is receiving a LATAMCAN Lifetime Achievement Award for his devotion to the industry. Last April, he stepped down as president of INX after a 47-year career but has continued in his CEO role. Mr. Clendenning’s leadership has been instrumental in the company’s worldwide growth. Recognized by his peers many times, he received the ink industry’s most prestigious honor, the Ault Award, in 2007.
